How to close your account
1. In the app, go to MY > Profile > tap ‘Close Account’ at the very bottom
2. Follow the on-screen instructions
Important
1. When you cannot close your account
You cannot close your account in the following cases.
You have a transfer in progress
You have a remaining balance in your Wallet
You have a withdrawable amount in your Wallet
Where to check: MY > Wallet (Cash) > Withdraw
Before closing your account, be sure to withdraw your entire Wallet balance and make sure any transfers in progress have been completed.
2. Before closing your account
After closing your account, you will no longer be able to log in with it.
Your transfer history will be deleted when you close your account. If needed, request a transfer statement from the Customer Center.
When you close your account, all benefits are deleted, including complimentary SentBe Point, SentBe Cash, accumulated SentBe Credit, coupons and Lucky Boxes received from transfers.
Account closure cannot be undone.
In accordance with relevant laws, your personal information is retained for 5 years after account closure.
3. Signing up again
You can sign up again with the mobile number and email address of your closed account. If you had a transfer history before closing your account, please contact the Customer Center.
4. Retention of personal information
When you close your account, your stored personal information is deleted, but the following information is retained for 5 years as required by law.
1. Customer identification records, such as customer verification forms and copies of real-name identification documents
2. Additional materials obtained to verify the purpose and nature of transactions
3. Electronic records such as transaction account numbers, product types, transaction dates, currency types and transaction amounts, as well as transaction applications, agreements, statements, copies of slips and business correspondence
